For pets sake! Stop smoking

SMOKERS in North Somerset are being warned of the dangers their habit can have on pets.

Posters and information have been put up in pet shops, veterinary surgeries, kennels and catteries throughout the region by NHS North Somerset to alert people to the problem.

The trust's stop smoking service is hoping pet owners will stub it out in order to stop harming their four-legged friends.

Health improvement specialist Miriam Thornton said: "Many studies show the link between ill-health in domestic pets and second-hand smoke.

"Although we have no statistics on the numbers of pet owners who smoke in North Somerset, anecdotal evidence indicates that once people are aware of the harm that can be caused to domestic pets they will make a firm effort to quit."

With the EasyQuit System™, 96 percent of people don't just learn how to stop smoking, they actually learn how to stop ever wanting to smoke ever again!

That is why more than 19 out of every 20 people who use the EasyQuit System™ to help them quit smoking succeed and become non-smokers!
